Inspired by the need to reduce the risk related to the possible spread of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus pandemics, we decided to halt the promotion of the POLAND SEE MORE - WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE project and to stop presenting the list of partners submitted at www.polskazobaczwiecej.pl. It is worth noting that, despite earlier declarations, a large number of establishments (e.g. museums, theatres) are now unable to participate in POLAND SEE MORE - WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE because they are prohibited to operate for the action’s duration.
This was a very painful decision to make, as we are aware of the project’s highly positive reception among tourists and the travel industry.
We would also like to take this opportunity to announce that starting with the next edition of POLAND SEE MORE - WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE we shall be increasing the number of promotional activities intended to encourage more tourists to join the undertaking. Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna) will make all necessary efforts to involve an even wider group of partners in the ninth edition of the project.
Polish Tourism Organisation does not act as an intermediary in booking/selling promotional offers as part of POLAND SEE MORE - WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE, but only promotes the project’s concept.
In consequence, involved parties are responsible for all changes related to the operations of submitted establishments or the dates of service delivery. Please also note that all matters connected with transactions made earlier or cancelled bookings should be agreed upon between customers and partners. Due to the project’s very positive impact on the travel industry and the willingness to continue it, we would like to ask all partners to adopt a favourable and flexible approach to tourists’ inquiries, e.g. as regards modifying booking dates. The good practice recommendations prepared by the Chamber of Commerce of the Polish Hotel Industry might act as a positive model.
